Well it looks like you had a great Thanksgiving together with your family. You all stayed in a motel? That is one neat museusm. I have never seen one like that. I am sure when the time came it was hard to part. You need to get a webcam if you don't have one. I have a built in one on mine, and I have sight and speed which is a private one, where I can get on with my daughter and family and see them, and with Ryan my son in CA. It is so neat. My daughter just got one for her computer. Last night she got on and let Gage see and he was in shock being able to see his grandma. He didn't know what to think, but was so excited. That would be neat for you and your family who lives in Kansas. Just thought I would let you know.
Yes, we stayed at the same motel from Wednesday night through Saturday. The Children's museum was terrific. There were so many hands on activities and the grandchildren all had a wonderful time. It was not only fun but educational. The web cam is a great idea. I can see why Gage was so excited. When we parted Jason was so upset he didn't want to leave us. I think he and Steven were considering stowing away in our trunk. We were so touched by their sincere regret at having to part with us. What great boys. Does this sound like a prejudice grandma. LOL I love all my grandchildren!! What a blessing.
Phil and I met in February of 1974 and were married in August of that year. We have 3 daughters, 1 son, 1 son-in-law and 1 daughter-in-law. We were blessed with 6 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Our daughter, Naomi is a special needs young adult.
In our spare time we enjoy visiting our son & daughter-in-law in Kansas and attending the Marriage Retreat in the heart of Amish Country. I (Cathy) enjoy working in my flower beds and genealogy. The computer is a favorite pastime also for both of Phillip & I.
